There wasn’t much time before the sun went down and she combined two heavy duty power cords together to span the distance from the house so she could conserve the solar panels. The five foot panels were only half charged and she knew that anything was possible.

Between the two of them, they were able to make the pit below comfortable if not homey. There was a mini fridge she had Jenner set up with cold beer and half the meat. The other half she quickly tossed into a crockpot in the house to cook overnight. The leftovers would suffice for another set of meals on the following day if need be. The last thing she did was have Jenner carry the receiver for her bugged card and the associated speakers down the pit.
